Sorry old fans and new fans, I know I haven't posted anything since October 12 but I have been busy. Since I'm a teacher and I coach sports after school when I get home I am tired and don't get around/feel like looking for something too post. But, I'm home for 2 weeks on Christmas vacation, so I got you guys again with some new posts....

Just in time for Xmas, etc., is “Canboulay Christmas,” a charming 3-CD collection of popular and obscure mento, kaiso, soca, and parang songs about shopping, food, drinks, Christmas, and festive partying, complete with all of the nostalgia and drama involved in each of those experiences.
These audio gems feature clever tongue-in-cheek humor (some are picongs), favoring sexual innuendo over remaking European Christmas standards, with few mentions of carnival. This music is fun for the whole inter-caribbean family.
